CHASKA, Minn. (May 30, 2019) – The PGA of America is offering free on-site parking at Hazeltine National Golf Club for fans attending the 2019 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. One of five majors in women’s professional golf, the major championship will be contested at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn., June 18 – 23.

“We’ve worked hard to ensure the 2019 KPMG Women’s Championship is accessible for everyone and that includes parking and transportation accessibility,” said Renee DeLosh, Championship Director. “We are proud to offer free on-site parking for all fans coming out for this major championship, something not often available.”

Several transportation options are available for the 2019 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship:

General Public Parking | Lot GP

The General Public Parking Lot will be on-site at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Lot GP. Lot GP can be accessed from Pioneer Trail across the street from Chaska High School.

In the event of inclement weather: Spectators will be directed to free parking available at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, where free shuttles will be available to bring them to and from Hazeltine National. Note: these shuttles will not run unless rain impacts the General Public Parking lot.

Bicycle and Walk-in Policy

Spectators and volunteers are welcome to bicycle or walk in. When walking or bicycling to the Championship, spectators should use the sidewalk on Hundertmark Road to avoid vehicle traffic and utilize the North Entrance. Bike racks will be available at the North Entrance outside the gates.

ADA Accessible Parking

Adaptive Driving Alliance parking will be on-site located at the North Entrance. Spectators can access this lot from Hundertmark Road. Spectators who wish to utilize ADA Accessible Parking will need to call The Convention Store at (877) 472-7275 for more information and to obtain parking credentials.

Rideshare

Spectators and volunteers can also use rideshare options, such as Uber or Lyft. Spectators using rideshare options will be dropped off and picked up in the designated spots in the Rideshare Lot located at 1140 Hazeltine Blvd., across Hundertmark Road in the Kohl’s parking lot. There will be a waiting area nearby the designated rideshare spots to request a vehicle for pick-up.

Taxi, Limousine and Car Service

All spectators arriving by taxi, limousine or car service should plan to be dropped off and picked up in the Rideshare Lot located at 1140 Hazeltine Blvd.

About the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship

The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, a collaboration of the PGA of America, KPMG, and the LPGA Tour, combines a world-class, annual major golf championship with the KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit and KPMG Future Leaders Program — all focused on the development, advancement and empowerment of women on and off the golf course. The Championship, taking place June 18 – 23, 2019, at Hazeltine National Golf Club offers a $3.85 million purse, among the highest in women’s golf, and will be broadcast on NBC and Golf Channel.

Net proceeds from the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit fund the KPMG Future Leaders Program, a charitable initiative that affords top female high school seniors across the country the opportunity to enhance their personal growth through college scholarships, a leadership development retreat at Stanford University, a mentoring relationship with a woman business leader and an introduction to golf. Condoleezza Rice serves as the program’s ambassador. For all the latest news and updates about the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit visit: KPMG.com/WomensLeadership.
