Sand Valley, Noteefy, and Strength in Numbers

If only we got a nickel for every happy Sand Valley golfer, we’d be rich and retired.

Not only is the golf course top tier, but the process of booking – or, shall we say, re-booking – tee times is even better and easier than ever.

Sand Valley Golf Resort’s secret sauce is Noteefy, the tee time waitlist notification system that’s arguably the hottest thing going for golfers and golf courses alike.

Noteefy solves the problem of golfers’ desired tee times being taken and them searching endlessly for slots at a second- or third-choice golf course elsewhere. Golf courses’ problems are also solved because Noteefy automation alerts golfers via text and e-mail when their desired tee times open due to cancellation, taking the place of staff inefficiently and ineffectively scrambling to fill the now-open tee times.
It’s all part of Sand Valley’s concierge servicing. We’ve also heard it referenced “white glove personalization” and “elevated booking experience.”

Sand Valley is smart. Well, super smart as many courses lose 20% of their tee times to cancellations, most last-minute.
The Wisconsin star realized more than 5,000 of its golfers signed up for Noteefy this season, translating to paid rounds that would’ve otherwise gone unfilled. With play rates from $100 to $275 per person, there would likely have been substantial revenue loss if it wasn’t for Noteefy helping to stave it off.

Sand Valley Revenue Manager Jordan Powell calls Noteefy a “game changer.”

“Why should golfers, who have busy lives, relegate themselves to settling for tee times that don’t really fit into their schedules at courses they don’t really want to play,” says Jake Gordon, Founder and CEO of Noteefy. “Now they’re more likely to happily tee it up where they want, when they want.”

Here’s how Noteefy works, and it’s super simple:
Golfers in a course’s database complete a simple online profile indicating their preferred tee times and number of golfers in their group. Upon receiving alerts that their desired tee times are now available, they subsequently book through the normal process.
Instant gratification is here and now with the simplicity and accessibility today’s golfers covet.

Scores of Midwest golf courses utilize Noteefy as their tee-time waitlist booking assistant. Based outside Chicago, KemperSports was one of the first multi-course operators to jump on the train. The company is one of Noteefy’s biggest fans, touting its efficacy in making lives easier. Staff don’t have to scramble to fill cancelled tee times, and upsetting golfers’ loyalties to their favorite courses is mitigated.
Ladies and gentlemen, we welcome you to the Open Table and Rezy of golf. Long live Noteefy.

Glen’s ultimate golf goal is to play in all fifty states and currently he is more than half way there. His other dream, albeit far-fetched, it to record an ace in all seven states of our distribution area. Thanks to an ace in Illinois in 2015, and one in Michigan in 2016, he has three down, four to go!
