Michael Pratt, Former Founder and CEO of Ogio International, Creates a New Footwear Category with the Launch of KIZIK

KIZIK®, a luxury footwear brand aiming to improve everyday life through its innovative design, is debuting a line of men’s sleek casual sneakers that are making a bold goal to revolutionize footwear by getting rid of shoelaces forever. KIZIK was founded by Michael Pratt, former founder and CEO of Ogio International, which was acquired by Callaway Golf for $75.5 million this past January.

KIZIKs are high tech, high quality and high comfort shoes that offer handsfree technology so wearers no longer have to use their hands to put shoes on. The contoured footbed provides comfort and support for walking on long golf courses, or to pop on after a long 18 holes. The laceless shoes encompass virtually invisible high-tech materials called F.A.S.T.® (Foot Activated Shoe Technology), offering the most premium fit, comfort and function features without laces, buckles, snaps or straps. With only 3 pounds of pressure, the internal spring wire allows for easy slip-on that then adjusts to a custom fit.

The line will be available on kizik.com and in select Dillard’s stores across the U.S. beginning on November 15th.
