For the fourth year in a row, I was tasked with compiling the professional and notable golf events across Midwest Golfing Magazine’s nine state region. As I filled page after page with event and dates it became apparently clear, if Midwesterner’s want to watch live golf there is no shortage of options.
This year will feature Mr. Midwest, Tony Finau, trying to defend his 2022 back-to-back wins in Michigan. (3M Open and Rocket Mortgage Classic). For Wisconsinites, all eyes will be on Steve Stricker (again) as he hosts his annual AM FAM Championship in Madison, defends his The Ally Challenge and Sanford International victories, and headlines the U.S. Senior Open at SentryWorld in Stevens Point. Finally, if you are looking to see the next stars of the PGA, I recommend heading to the Korn Ferry Championships in Indiana where 25 golfers will earn their PGA Tour Card.
