Gary Player's Mountain Top features 13 remarkable par-3 holes tucked inside stunning limestone rock formations.

Branson offers an astounding array of attractions to those who love to travel, play golf, and cherish the holiday season. Nowhere else in the world can you tee off on courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio and Gary Player during the morning, then immerse yourself in the comprehensive spectacle that is Christmas in Branson afterward.

For more than a quarter century, Branson has made its holiday lineup of events a treasured tradition. Celebrations run from the beginning of November through New Year’s Day – there’s no waiting for Thanksgiving to kick-off the holidays in Branson, our charming middle America town in the southwest Missouri Ozarks.

Branson burst on the scene during the past few years as a must-visit golf destination. Several new courses opened here in the recent past, and there will be 10 when an 18-hole design by Tiger Woods called Payne’s Valley debuts in 2020. All are close to one another and diverse yet complementary. To understand the high quality of Branson’s golf venues, know that three of Missouri’s top 10 ranked courses are here, and it has designs by a cadre of esteemed designers, including Bob Cupp, Tom Clark, Chuck Smith, and Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw.

Christmas light displays can be found all throughout the Branson area. Driving tours such as Let There Be Lights!, Branson’s Lights of Joy and Trail of Lights are all great to explore. During the Christmas season, visitors can even experience light displays while walking down the Branson Landing. Silver Dollar City is home to the largest Christmas light display in this area during An Old Time Christmas. With Christmas in Midtown, you can find around 6.5 million lights across the park.

Branson is America’s Christmas Tree City. Follow the city tree trail for plenty of fun adventures and a unique Christmas light experience. Holiday shopping, Polar Express train rides, and many more attractions beckon.

Getting in the spirit of the season, LedgeStone Country Club – rated the No. 6 best public course in Missouri by Golfweek – allows you to “Play Golf and Santa” from Nov. 17-Dec. 23, Sundays-Thursdays. Golfers who bring a new unwrapped toy can play the award-winning course for $25, a savings of more 40% off the normal November-December playing rate.

All Branson courses provide value-priced greens fees from Nov. 1 until spring. Incredible deals are available now at The Pointe, Branson Hills Golf Club, Holiday Hills, Thousand Hills Golf Resort and the four courses at Big Cedar Lodge (Ozarks National, Buffalo Ridge Springs, Top of the Rock, and Mountain Top).
