Bunker Hill Farms – Your Own Private Resort Only 60 Miles Northwest of Chicago

Luxury That Makes a Social Impact

Tucked away in the rolling hills of McHenry County, lies a secluded paradise. A favorite
among celebrities such as Steven Tyler, Darius Rucker, MLB and PGA Tour players.

Bunker Hill Farms is a 450-acre private hideaway featuring luxury accommodations, a
custom 18-Hole golf course, spa, lake, and more. A rare and hidden Midwest gem, the
true beauty of this luxury resort lies within the purpose of its mission …all proceeds are
granted to charity.

From corporate retreats and intimate events to private, personal stays with friends and
family, Bunker Hill Farms is an exclusively private experience. From the moment you step
onto the property, you are transported to a tranquil escape – 450 acres of lakes,
prairies, gardens and various wildlife – with both land and lake adventures for relaxation
and exploration.

“In 2005, my wife and I saw this property and the dream kept building from there,” says
Mike Domek, Founder of Bunker Hill Farms. “We’ve expanded the original 150-acre area
to 450-acres and are excited to keep adding experiences across this beautiful
landscape. It started as our home away from home and now we want to share it with
the country.”

A way that Bunker Hill Farms is being shared with people from across the U.S. is through
charity. An extension of Bunker Hill Farms is Bunker Hill Charities, an Illinois nonprofit
501(c)(3) corporation founded in 2015. “My friends asked if I would donate a round of
golf for charity and it raised $8K – this ignited a fire,” says Domek. “I started thinking
about how I had this amazing place that was sitting empty 80% of the time and I
wanted other people to enjoy it too. A lightbulb went off and I realized that a charity
was the perfect way to do exactly that.” All proceeds of the property directly benefits
Bunker Hill Charities, which is devoted to supporting societal change and improving the
quality of living for Northwestern Illinois communities and neighboring areas.

Bunker Hill Farms comprises two main areas: North – Cottage, Silo Spa & Garden, Event
Venue, Shooting Pavilion; and South – Lodge, Golf Course, Lake and Trails. The Cottage
is an upscale guesthouse featuring six King bedroom suites, a terrace & outdoor
fireplace, fitness center and meeting space. Built in 2017, the 5800 sq-ft space offers a
truly Zen atmosphere nestled within the wilderness that can accommodate 12 guests.
For larger groups, there are two additional sleeping spaces with a full kitchen attached
to the event space, adjacent to the Cottage. The Lodge was built in 2005 and boasts a
7300 Sq-ft space, with sky-high ceilings and an additional 7,000 square foot wraparound
terrace. Stone was trucked in from Wisconsin, Montana and Pennsylvania surrounding the
four-bedroom home, which features a hot tub, lake and can accommodate 12 guests.

Golf
Named Chicago’s Most Exclusive Golf Course by Chicago Golf Report, Bunker Hill Farms
offers an exclusively private 18-hole, par-72 course rated by the Chicago District Golf
Association with yardage totaling 6709 and a slope rating of 130. Paying homage to the
great courses such as Erin Hills and Bandon Dunes, this fine fescue fairways and bent
grass greens incorporate influences from great links courses.

Spa
Experience relaxation from above the treetops at Bunker Hill Farms’ Silo Spa, which
allows for an unparalleled view during an array of treatments. The glass floor panels
create the ultimate perspective viewable through your massage headrest – the lush
botanical garden below.

Lake & Land Adventures
From Horseback Riding, Skeet Shooting and ATV Tours to Fishing, Paddleboarding and
Kayaking, Bunker Hill Farms has endless activities for guests to experience. A 60-foot-deep
private lake features a sand beach and guests can use the Pontoon Boat and Floating Water Park.
On land, guests can explore riding trails on foot or bikes, plus special activities such as Hot
Air Balloon Rides or a Helicopter Tour are just an ask away.

Thanks to an ace in Illinois in 2015, and one in Michigan in 2016, he has three down, four to go!
