SILVIS, ILLINOIS, May 22, 2024; The Advocates Pro Golf Association (APGA) Tour
returned to TPC Deere Run for a fourth consecutive year.
The APGA operates with the mission of bringing greater diversity to the game of golf by
hosting and operating professional golf tournaments, player development programs,
mentoring programs, and introducing the game to young people.
Round 1 (May 21st): Farmers Insurance Ambassador Troy Taylor II took the lead at -3
heading into the final round. Four standout APGA Tour players – Marcus Byrd, Willie
Mack III, Aaron Grimes, Ryan Ellerbrock – were just one stroke back at -2.
Round 2 (May 22nd): Ryan Ellerbrock is the winner; he shot -7 over the course of both
rounds. This is his second win on the APGA Tour. He also won the Farmers Insurance Fall
Series Finale last year.
