Top Junior Female Golfers from Around the World Compete in Wisconsin

WHAT:
The Rolex Girls Junior Championship, one of the American Junior Golf Association’s (AJGA) most prestigious invitationals, begins Tuesday at SentryWorld in Stevens Point. The event features the world’s top 72 junior female golfers—ages 12-19—competing on a course that has earned a national reputation for elite tournament play.

This free, public event offers golf enthusiasts a rare chance to see the future stars of the sport up close. In fact, many are already committed to top collegiate programs or headed for the professional ranks.

WHEN:
June 17 – 19, 2025
Tee times off holes No. 1 and No. 10 begin daily between 8–9:50 a.m.
Play ends at approximately 3 p.m. each day

WHERE:
SentryWorld Golf Course
601 Michigan Ave. N., Stevens Point, Wisconsin

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
Admission: Free and open to the public. Complimentary on-site parking is available in the SentryWorld parking lot.

Concessions: Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages may be purchased from the refreshment stations on the course. The Library Café and PJ’s restaurant will be open with normal business hours.

Permitted Items: Spectators are encouraged to bring a portable lawn chair and may bring a reusable water bottle. Outside food and beverages, coolers, and large audio/visual equipment—including microphones, professional-grade video cameras, and other production equipment—will not be permitted.

WHO TO WATCH:
Notable players at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship include:

  • Aphrodite Deng, the current No. 2 ranked junior golfer in the world
  • McKenna Nelson, a Wisconsin standout and 2024 Drive, Chip and Putt National Champion at Augusta National
