76 PGA TOUR Champions players team up to vie for the “Dream Achieved” trophy, June 5-7

MADISON, Wis. (May 29, 2026) – Golf’s biggest names on the PGA TOUR Champions are pairing up, with the final field set for the 2026 American Family Insurance Championship, June 5-7 at TPC Wisconsin, where 76 players will compete in 38 teams for the “Dream Achieved” trophy.

For the second straight year, the AmFam Championship will feature a team format exclusive to the PGA TOUR Champions. The field will compete as 38 two-person teams over 54 holes, with two rounds of best ball and one round of scramble. The tournament returns to TPC Wisconsin, the event’s home since 2025, on Madison’s north side.

Defending champion Darren Clarke will return with a new partner this year, teaming up with Ben Crane after winning the 2025 title alongside Thomas Bjørn. Clarke and Bjørn won last year’s inaugural team title at 32-under-par.

Tournament host Steve Stricker, the 2023 champion, is one of five former AmFam Championship winners in the field, along with Clarke (2025), Ernie Els (2024), two-time winner Jerry Kelly (2019 and 2021), and Scott McCarron (2018).

The field also includes returning players such as Steven Alker, Ángel Cabrera, John Daly, David Duval, Retief Goosen, Lee Janzen, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Bernhard Langer, Davis Love III, Jose Maria Olazabal, and Vijay Singh.

Zach Johnson, a two-time major champion who won the 2007 Masters and 2015 Open Championship, will make his AmFam Championship debut as a PGA TOUR Champions rookie. Johnson, who participated in the 2023 Celebrity Foursome exhibition, will partner with 2025 Charles Schwab Cup Champion Stewart Cink.

Celebrating its 10th tournament, proceeds from the AmFam Championship benefit American Family Children’s Hospital and local nonprofits. Tickets are available at www.amfamchampionship.com.

“The AmFam Champ is set for another great week, with a standout field of PGA TOUR Champions giving fans the chance to see golf legends up close competing at a high level,” said Nate Pokrass, tournament director. “The feedback on the team format has been outstanding, and you could feel the energy from the crowds. Players embraced the partner competition and have expressed excitement all year long to return to Madison. What truly makes this event special is the impact on our community. Since the tournament began in 2016, nearly $22 million has been raised for the American Family Children’s Hospital and local nonprofits. We’re looking forward to celebrating our 10th tournament with another great event for our fans, partners and the greater Madison community.”
