Professional and amateur golfers join a Fargo tradition that has raised more than $2.4 million for community programs
FARGO, N.D. (Aug. 13, 2026) – The 62nd annual Bobcat North Dakota Open returns Aug. 20-22, at Rose Creek Golf Course, bringing professional and amateur golfers together while continuing a decades-long tradition of community support in Fargo. Since becoming title sponsor in 1984, Bobcat Company and tournament participants have helped raise more than $2.4 million to support programs and services provided by The Village Family Service Center.
The tournament also marks the beginning of a new three-year partnership between the Dakotas Tour and Asher Golf Tour, designed to strengthen professional participation and support the continued growth of competitive golf throughout the region.
The 54-hole stroke play tournament includes both gross and net divisions, giving amateur golfers the opportunity to compete alongside Dakotas Tour professionals in one of the region’s premier pro-am events. Tournament activities begin Tuesday, Aug. 18, with the championship concluding Saturday, Aug. 22, following the final round and awards ceremony. This year’s field features professional golfers from across the country, including local talent Zach Sklebar, Jackson Worner, as well as former North Dakota State University golfers and current professionals Lucas Johnson, Brock Winter, Nate Deziel and Nate Adams expected to participate.
