The Village of Vernon Hills, Ill., and KemperSports are excited to unveil The Back Nine at The Muni – a 16,000-sq.-ft putting green and short game practice facility with multiple chipping areas that will further enhance the player development opportunities at the municipal gem course. Designed by renowned golf course architect Todd Quitno, the short game facility is located adjacent to the first tee and clubhouse at the 9-hole Vernon Hills Golf Course.

On Tuesday, April 29, The Village of Vernon Hills and KemperSports celebrated the opening on a beautiful afternoon with ribbon cutting with Village trustees and Mayor Thom Koch and ceremonial first putts from all dignitaries in attendance.

As Mayor Thom Koch said: “We are excited to open this outstanding new community amenity. Thank you to all of the Village team and KemperSports for making this a reality.”
