Public can sign up to volunteer at PGA TOUR Champions golf event in Madison; special promotion for those signing up before Dec. 31
(Madison, Wis.) (Nov. 2, 2022) — Volunteer registration for the seventh annual PGA TOUR Champions American Family Insurance Championship is now open and the public is invited to sign-up to volunteer. Those interested can learn about volunteer opportunities by visiting this section of the championship website (www.amfamchampionship.com). Sign-up now at the volunteer registration page.
The tournament and accompanying events will take place June 3-11, 2023, at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin. Steve Stricker continues as player/host for the event.
Annually more than 1,000 individuals representing 14 states have volunteered at the American Family Insurance Championship. Learn more by watching this highlight video showcasing volunteers from past events.
For a $80 registration fee* volunteers receive:
• Official tournament uniform: shirt, jacket and choice of unisex cap, visor or bucket hat
• Commemorative tournament lapel pin
• Tournament drawstring backpack
• Volunteer credential and lanyard (valid all week)
• Volunteer parking pass (valid all week)
• Additional guest general admission tickets valid any day
• Meal or box lunch provided each day worked
*Special promotion: Register and pay by Dec. 31, 2022, to receive a $5 discount off the 2023 volunteer package fee with code CHAMP5 at check out. This early registration promotion allows for the volunteer fee to remain the same since the tournament began in 2016.
All proceeds from the championship are donated to the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation. Since its inaugural event in 2016, the American Family Insurance Championship has raised nearly $12.6 million distributed to the American Family Children’s Hospital and distributed more than 500 other charitable grants.
