PXG Opens New Retail & Fitting Studio in Chicago-area

Oak Brook Store Marks Company’s 10th U.S. and 2nd Chicago Area Location

PXG, a global research and development company dedicated to creating the world’s finest golf equipment and apparel, has officially opened its tenth store in the United States. PXG Oak Brook is the company’s second location in the Chicago area and a key part of its initiative to establish 24 stores by the end of 2022.

“The Chicago area is one of the top golf markets in the U.S. and that, combined the success of our first Chicago store, led us to open a second location in the area,” said Founder and CEO of PXG Bob Parsons. “Our aggressive expansion plan allows us to continue our customer-focused approach to providing exceptional experiences to golfers at every level of the game.”

Since inception, PXG has maintained a direct-to-consumer sales model that is in stark opposition to current retail trends that rely heavily on third-party partnerships. PXG’s dedication to traditional brick-and-mortar retail helps maintain its laser focus on quality and allows the company to deliver outstanding equipment and apparel to customers, without the third-party markup.

PXG Oak Brook Stats:
• 8,455 total square-feet
• 3 state-of-the-art fitting bays equipped with TrackMan technology
• 430 square-foot putter fitting studio
• 185 square-foot practice putting green
• Expensive retail showroom featuring PXG sport fashion apparel and accessories

Located at 17W705 E Roosevelt Road – with easy access off the Illinois I-83 and I-88 – the new PXG retail and fitting studio is close to several golf courses and is well positioned near Oak Brook Center Mall, the second-largest shopping center in Illinois.
“PXG Oak Brook is easily accessible for customers from the city of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs,” said President and Executive Creative Director of PXG Apparel Renee Parsons. “We’re excited to better serve this community and offer even more opportunities for golf and fashion enthusiasts to have a firsthand experience with PXG apparel and equipment.”

His other dream, albeit far-fetched, it to record an ace in all seven states of our distribution area. Thanks to an ace in Illinois in 2015, and one in Michigan in 2016, he has three down, four to go!
