The Lake of The Ozarks Golf Trail is thrilled to announce the formation of The Golf Trail’s Giveaway Passport that allows local and traveling golfers to access 13 incredible properties throughout the region. This passport can be picked up for free at local Golf Shows throughout the Midwest and gives holders the chance to play all 13 participating courses for only a minimal cart fee to validate the free greens fee. Each course has its own specific guidelines as to when they complimentary greens fees can be redeemed.

Steve Walker, Executive Director of the Lake of The Ozarks Golf Council, understands the benefits of the Giveaway Passport are vast. “We believe that the Passport will act as an introduction for golfers that may not be familiar with the Lake of the Ozarks Golf Trial and all that we have to offer, as well as provide incentive for those that have played here before to do so more frequently and play more courses as well,” said Walker.

Walker went on to say, “Ideally, the Passport will help solidify the Lake of the Ozarks’ reputation for being the best golf getaway in the Midwest. We’re simply trying to spread the word that not only do we have 13 outstanding courses, but that the Lake of the Ozarks was named the “Best Recreational Lake in the Nation” by readers of USA Today and there’s so much to enjoy off the course as well. We are an incredible golf destination that’s also very affordable here in the heart of the heartland,” explained Walker.
