JAWS MD5 RAW WEDGES – THE MOST AGGRESSIVE GROOVE IN GOLF. NOW IN A RAW FINISH

Please see Callaway’s latest review of their brand new JAWS Wedges.

Our JAWS MD5 Wedges are a breakthrough in wedge design and performance. Callaway Chief
Designer, Roger Cleveland and his extensive R&D team have created a JAWS Groove to take
spin and control to the next level. The result is a wedge with total performance: premium
shapes, striking finishes, outstanding feel, unique versatility, and exceptional spin.
And now JAWS MD5 Raw is available in a new raw finish, which reduces glare and creates a
popular look that many Callaway Tour Pros prefer. This lineup also includes new grind options
based on Roger Cleveland’s extensive work with players on the PGA Tour.

JAWS Groove Design

The JAWS MD5 Raw features our proprietary JAWS groove, elevating the groove-edge
sharpness to a new level, for maximum grip and spin from all types of lies. JAWS grooves are
particularly effective from 80 yards and in, producing a player preferred “one hop and stop”
trajectory.

Not Just High Spin, Consistent Spin

Each JAWS groove is rendered to the tightest tolerances we’ve ever achieved, promoting
consistent spin-rates from shot to shot. JAWS adds a higher level of consistency that inspires
confidence for all scoring zone shots.

Unparalleled Feel Unique to Callaway Wedges

Roger Cleveland is a master at delivering uniquely satisfying feel by combining the right designs
with the right materials. JAWS MD5 Raw is constructed from 8620 mild carbon steel and the
Center of Gravity of the wedges is precisely placed to create a soft, yet substantial feel.

Premium Shape and Construction

These wedges boast precise and appealing detailing that give them a premium look. They retain
the row of four ports and medallions on the back of the head that make our wedges
immediately identifiable. And the new raw finish provides a low glare option for players who
prefer their wedges to rust over time.

New Grind Options

New T Grind (in 58* and 60*) is an increasingly popular choice on Tour, with a crescent sole,
slightly thicker topline, and higher CG for controlled ball flight. The X Grind (in 54* and 56*) is a
higher bounce option that promotes better shot-making.

Features and Benefits

JAWS Groove Design For Exceptional Spin

New Grind Options

New T Grind (in 58* and 60*) is already one of our top grinds on Tour, with a crescent sole,
slightly thicker topline, and higher CG for controlled ball flight. X Grind (in 54* and 56*) is a
higher bounce option for the shot maker.
