Please see below for some exciting news from our friends at Erin Hills!
With the May 7th start of the 2018 season approaching quickly, we want to let you know, over the course of several emails, some of the exciting changes we are making to the Erin Hills experience for this season. This week we will focus on the Kettle Loop, a collection of five holes. Designed for arriving overnight guests who don’t quite have time for 9 or 18 holes before sunset or who just want more time on the course, the Kettle Loop provides a fun late-afternoon option for golf. Through the use of two new tees and little-used tees on the other three holes, the loop presents a different look for each hole other than what the golfer sees during the full round. The Kettle Loop will evolve each year as we explore adding tees and/or greens. The Kettle Loop is only for overnight guests and the green fee to play is $45. For a complete description of the loop, please see below. For more information please visit www.erinhills.com
1st hole:
From a new tee near the fire pits in front of the Lodge. The hole will measure 472 yards.
2nd hole:
From the Gold tee (223 yards) as a long par 3/short par 4 (your choice!).
3rd hole:
From the Black tee (476 yards) as a risk-reward par 5 with the central bunker forcing a decision on the second shot.
4th hole:
From a new tee in the right rough of the 5th hole, a medium-length par-3 to the 5th green. The hole will measure 153 yards.
5th hole:
From the Black tee (237yards) of the 6th hole to the 6th green, followed by a ride back to the Irish Pub!

His other dream, albeit far-fetched, it to record an ace in all seven states of our distribution area. Thanks to an ace in Illinois in 2015, and one in Michigan in 2016, he has three down, four to go!
