PGA Tour Player and former Michigan Amateur Champion will promote the Northern Michigan golf destination

Petoskey, MI—BOYNE Golf proudly announces Ryan Brehm as its brand ambassador. The 39-year-old Mount Pleasant and Traverse City native will represent BOYNE Golf as he continues his journey playing professionally on the PGA and Korn Ferry Tour.

Brehm, a PGA Tour winner in 2022, currently playing on the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tours, will represent BOYNE Golf on and off the course by showcasing their logo, promoting the leading golf destination brand as he travels nationwide pursuing his professional playing career throughout the year.

“It is an honor to represent BOYNE Golf and everything BOYNE Golf stands for in destination golf,” said Brehm. “Growing up in Michigan, BOYNE was always synonymous with great golf, hosting some of the top amateur and professional tournaments in the state. I look forward to promoting the BOYNE Golf brand nationwide as I continue my professional career.”

Brehm, a former Michigan State University standout and assistant coach with an economics degree, was the 2007 Michigan Amateur Champion and three-time Michigan Open Champion. He was the first Michigan State golfer and Michigan resident to win on the PGA Tour since Jackson’s Brian Stuard won the 2016 Zurich Classic in New Orleans. He is also the second Mount Pleasant native joining Dan Pohl as a PGA Tour winner. Mount Pleasant has a rich history of producing elite PGA and LPGA golfers. That list includes Pohl, Doug LaBelle, Cindy Figg-Currier, and Kelly Robbins.

“Ryan Brehm has been one of the finest golfers Michigan has ever produced, and one of the finest people in the game of golf, said Josh Richter, PGA, Senior Vice President of Golf Operations for BOYNE Golf. “We feel he is the perfect fit to promote the BOYNE Golf brand, and we are very excited to work with him.”

Ryan Brehm changed his life as a golf professional dramatically with his first PGA Tour win at the Puerto Rico Open in 2022. He has played in 148 professional PGA Tour events in his career.

About BOYNE Golf

BOYNE Golf has been recognized by USA Today 10Best as the No. 1 Golf Destination in the United States for 2025 and by GOLF Magazine as one of North America’s “Premier Resorts” (Gold).

The Highlands is ranked as the No. 2 Golf Resort in the United States by USA Today 10Best in 2025 and was rated the No. 1 Golf Resort for Value by Golf.com. The Highlands features four championship courses, a new par three-course Doon Brae, and a 27-hole putting course, The Back Yaird. The Heather, the 2019 NGCOA Course of the Year, was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., while Arthur Hills crafted the Hills Course. In addition, the resort features The Donald Ross Memorial, a rendition of the legendary architect’s great holes from around the country, and the always fun Moor course. The Highlands is the perfect buddy trip destination for golfers who like to play as many holes as they can during the long summer daylight hours that northern Michigan features.

The Inn at Bay Harbor and Bay Harbor Golf Club, the premier golf destination’s flagship properties, feature 45 holes, including three golf course combinations designed by Arthur Hills (Links/Quarry, Quarry/Preserve, and Preserve/Links), and the scenic Crooked Tree Golf Club, with one of the most beautiful and iconic hotels in America, all set along a scenic five-mile stretch of Lake Michigan shoreline.

Boyne Mountain not only features two picturesque 18-hole courses (The Monument and The Alpine), along with the charming Mountain Grand Lodge & Spa, it is also the leading family-friendly golf destination in the region with the Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark, junior golf camps, and various kid golf programs. Golf Digest named Boyne Mountain one of its “Top 10 Destinations for Family Golf Trips.”
